This initiative focused on strategically redesigning and enhancing the features of the core Engagement Dashboard used by our B2B clients. The objective was to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable business intelligence.

By providing clear, immediate insights into factors that drive or inhibit their business performance, the redesigned dashboard empowers users to move beyond simple data review and make better, data-driven strategic decisions.

Redesign enhancements

— Starting with stakeholder kickoff meetings and requirement gathering, I translated complex business logic into a few low-fidelity wireframes to define the structural foundation. This iterative process allowed us to solve for Information Architecture early, leading to a final redesign that optimized visual hierarchy and significantly reduced cognitive load for users interacting with dense enterprise data.

High Fidleity mockup
The primary dashboard provides a comprehensive cross-platform activity overview, segmenting user engagement by device modality: Desktop, Web, and Mobile. To facilitate rapid data interpretation, I utilized a triangulated visualization strategy—leveraging donut charts for composition, line graphs for temporal trends, and tabular views for granular data density.

This viewport synthesizes complex usage telemetry, ranging from session frequency to offline asset generation. By utilizing a modular bar chart framework, the UI categorizes these metrics by device type, facilitating a clear 'cross-platform' audit of how users engage with the application's core features.

This visualization maps a taxonomy of active learning behaviors—specifically text highlighting, annotation, and note-taking. By synthesizing total session frequency with a longitudinal time-series, the graph allows for granular, day-over-day analysis of how students transition from passive consumption to active content engagement.

By selecting a specific 'weekly' data point, users surface a contextual modal that provides a high-resolution, 7-day chronological breakdown of student activity, allowing for a seamless transition from macro cohort trends to granular daily behavior.
