Cart Flow - Redesign

To re-build the end-to-end checkout flow and architecture, reducing transaction friction and "time-to-content" for learners. The goal was to transform a high-drop-off legacy process into a streamlined, high-conversion funnel that handles complex licensing logic while maintaining a friction-less user experience for online students.

Users are guided through a contextual 'Sign In' trigger that surfaces a dedicated Account Sign In or Creation modal, allowing for a seamless transition for registered user without losing their place in the funnel.

Interface provides a transparent breakdown of the user's selections—clearly distinguishing between rental durations, perpetual licenses, and digital access codes.

Interface was crafted to a single-page transaction environment designed to minimize abandonment. User's cart contents visible while prioritizing the data-entry fields for payment and billing, ensuring a friction-less path to final asset provisioning.

This page provides immediate 'path-to-content' triggers, ensuring that the transition from commerce to the VitalSource Bookshelf is instantaneous. A clear Order Summary alongside a prominent 'Read Now' Call-to-Action, we eliminated post-purchase friction and reinforced user confidence in the fulfillment process.
